Mayra is an analog and web3 artist based in Seattle and NYC. Her work aims to inspire a sense of familiarity and nostalgia in the viewer. She touches upon the topics of identity, memories, and the heart’s tendency to romanticize.
A tinkerer at heart, Mayra loves using experimental processes to create and loves the freedom of exploring different art mediums, not bounding herself to one type of visual media. In love with film photography and its’ long history of experimental methods, Mayra loves the hands-on process of film and how you can create rich textures and stories through seemingly endless manipulation methods (both physical and digital).
Mayra is also a social media manager, creative director, and copywriter with 6+ years of experience and a Bachelors in Fine Arts from New York University. Working with various clients, big and small, Mayra knows the importance of communication and working together to create an aesthetically pleasing end result that fits the client’s brand and culture perfectly.
